The Frostblade Rogue

The Frostblade, a new Roguish Archetype written for Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition, is now available on DMs Guild!

“These rogues have somehow earned the favor of Archfey with sway over ice, cold, or winter. Entities such as the King of Frost, the Old Man in the Ice, or a Bheur Grandmother are all common benefactors, though any powerful Archfey of the Winter Court might decide to empower a mortal. For motives that are often unclear, these Archfey have chosen to imbue this rogue with the quiet, merciless power of a deadly winter. Mortals gifted with these wintry powers are called Frostblades by the fey and are feared for their effectiveness. From an early age, fey nobility learn to flee a sudden swell of blinding snow as a cold-blooded killer is likely stalking from within.”

The Pact of the Grandmother is a feytouched Warlock subclass for the greatest roleplaying game in the world!

In the meantime, check out my other subclass offerings on DMs Guild, including the Twilight Warden Fighter and the Circle of the Strange Druid.

School of Castigation

The School of Castigation is a feytouched Wizard subclass for the greatest roleplaying game in the world!

Wizards who specialize in the study of castigation magic have taken on the daunting task of comprehending and the strange denizens of the Feywild. Quantifying the unpredictable power of the fey has been the life’s work of many a wizard in hopes of uncovering some great and undiscovered wellspring of magic. Wizards in this relatively small school are known as castigators, and most spend their days trying to unravel the byzantine laws that seem to bind the otherwise mercurial fey.

Beyond their studies, castigators are most commonly tasked with negotiations between the Fair Folk and mortals. Some enterprising wizards have set up shop in the Feywild as traders or safe havens for mortals lost deep in the Winding Way. A few braver–or more foolish–souls attempt to use their knowledge of the rules of the Feywild to hunt the fey themselves. As a through line among all castigators, these wizards tend to be obsessive when it comes to laws and rules, deciphering magic systems, behaving with precise decorum, and searching for hints of the true names of any being they encounter.

Featuring art by Storn Cook, the School of Castigation is now available on DMs Guild.

The Twilight Warden Fighter Archetype

The Twilight Warden is a Martial Archetype for Fighters using Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition rules.

The walls between worlds can sometimes blur or wear thin, and mortals can sometimes wander into fey spaces rich with magic and danger. Twilight Wardens are special warriors trained to protect and enforce the borders between the mortal world and the Feywild. A Twilight Warden is tasked with returning mortals to their world unscathed, and preventing the terrors of the Feywild from spilling out into the mortal realm.

The Twilight Warden is available now on DMs Guild!

Now LIVE! Circle of the Strange

The Circle of the Strange is a new Feytouched subclass for the Druid intended for use with Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition.

Druids that wander the Feywild often avoid the Fey Courts. You found yourself trekking deeper into the fantastic wilds, the places where even seasoned seasoned explorers of the Feywild dare not venture. You befriended the wild creatures easily enough and obeyed the rules that the fey put before you. Eventually, your wandering led you to earn the respect of the primal fey spirits, often nameless, that reside on the murkier outskirts of the Feywild.

You learned to look after these spirits, tending them with offerings and kindness. When you returned to the polite company of the Fey Courts, you had been transformed, marked by these bizarre spirits you now call friends. The fey are not entirely sure what to do with you now, but they give Circle of the Strange druids both a grudging respect and a wide berth.

Featuring art by Storn Cook, the Circle of the Strange is available now on DMs Guild.

Coming Friday: Circle of the Strange

A new Feytouched Druid Circle for the greatest roleplaying game in the world!

The Circle of the Strange is a Druid subclass written for use with Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition rules. By expending a use of Wild Shape, these curious druids can instead channel the primal fey spirits that they have befriended whilst wandering through the far reaches of the Feywild.

Featuring art by Storn Cook, this subclass is pretty awesome. Druids hold a special place in my heart, and I really hope you’ll dig it.

The Circle of the Strange will be available on DMs Guild starting on Friday!

College of Passion is LIVE NOW!

A new Feytouched Bard subclass for the greatest roleplaying game in the world!

You have studied the haunting music of the fey and observed the machinations of the Fey Courts. However you came about your talents, your songs and poems pull deep from the well of fey emotions and revelry. Welcome to the College of Passion!

The College of Passion is written for Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition and features art by Storn Cook. It’s available NOW on DM’s Guild!

Barbarians on the Path of the Endless Revel stumbled into the outlandish parties of the Fey Courts. Wise folk warn against partaking of the otherworldly food and drink, and for good reason: the Path of the Endless Revel is one of transformation. To relive these glorious moments among the fey, these adventurers consume things considered odd or even disgusting in polite company to fuel their feytouched madness and fury.
